Education Pathway
My background includes international education counseling, student advising, TEFL preparation, school leadership exposure, and culturally responsive learning support across Cambodian and cross-cultural education settings.
While my portfolio centers on instructional design, language access, and culturally responsive learning, my professional foundation also includes education advising, student support, school coordination, and English-language learning. This page highlights the education-facing side of my background for roles in academic advising, student success, ESL/TEFL instruction, international education, and learning support.

IDP Education | 2014-2016

2018-2019
Supported campus operations, student experience, staff coordination, and school-level communication in a cross-cultural education setting. This role provided leadership exposure in school administration, learner support, and faculty coordination.
ESL/TEFL Preparation
Completed a 120-hour TEFL certificate and British Council continuing professional development. This supports my preparation for ESL/TEFL teaching, English-language learner support, and classroom-based learning roles, especially in international or Southeast Asia education contexts.
Graduate Study
My graduate training strengthens my ability to design learning experiences, assess learner needs, apply accessibility and UDL principles, and develop structured learning supports for students and educators.
For me, advising and instructional design are connected by the same question: does the learner understand the path in front of them, and what support would make the next step clearer?
My work in student advising, language access, healthcare communication, and EdTech all points toward the same design principle: people need information that is structured, accessible, culturally meaningful, and usable.
